Casa Mantarraya is a fully self-contained, ocean cliff home perched above the Sea of Cortez, offering panoramic views, complete privacy, and direct access to one of the most spectacular marine environments in the world. Designed to operate independently while delivering every modern comfort, it offers a rare balance of luxury, sustainability, and freedom.
Perched above the turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez, the home offers floor-to-ceiling glass, expansive indoor-outdoor living, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, infinity pool, six-person jacuzzi, fire pit, multiple oceanfront terraces, high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, Sonos sound system, air conditioning throughout, private parking, and complete privacy.
Located just 30 minutes from La Paz heading towards Costa Baja, Casa Mantarraya is the perfect base for snorkeling, diving, kayaking, island adventures, whale watching, or simply relaxing while taking in spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the Sea of Cortez. Private boat charters with captain and other curated adventure experiences can be arranged upon request.
Guest access
Guests enjoy exclusive access to the entire Casa Mantarraya estate, including all indoor and outdoor living spaces, the infinity pool, jacuzzi, private terraces, and the secluded beach below the property.
Self check-in is simple and secure using a unique door code provided before your arrival, allowing you to arrive whenever it's convenient.
You'll also have access to our private tennis court, located within Puerto Mexia. The court is reserved exclusively for our family and our guests, so you'll never be sharing it with the public or large crowds.
Just five minutes from the home, we're also happy to share access to what we consider one of the most spectacular beaches in Baja. Because the surrounding coastline is privately owned, the beach is virtually untouched and is typically enjoyed only by our family and our guests. With powder-soft white sand and crystal-clear turquoise water, it often feels as though you've discovered your own private island.
We're also happy to help organize unforgettable Baja experiences, including snorkeling, scuba diving, whale shark encounters (seasonal), island excursions, fishing, private chefs, in-home massages, and more.
Our goal is to make your stay as effortless, private, and unforgettable as possible.

Boat Excursions
Guests may arrange exclusive access to our private 25-foot 2025 speedboat, Baby Whale Shark, perfect for visiting Espíritu Santo Island, snorkeling, swimming with sea lions, whale watching (seasonal), and sunset cruises.
A professional captain is required for all outings and can be booked with a bit of a heads up.
Captain fee: $300 USD per day
Fuel is additional, typically around $200 USD for a full day on the water, depending on destination and usage.
Optional onboard catering including fresh seafood lunch, beer, soft drinks, and water can be arranged for approximately $100 USD.
The only guest allowed on the boat are the people staying at Casa Mantarraya. No more than 6 guests.
We'll be happy to help customize an itinerary based on the weather, season, and your interests.
