About this house rental
We've hosted plenty of friends' families here, and the feedback is always the same: it works for travel with children. The kids' bedroom is a real kids' bedroom with a dollhouse, toys, books and bunk beds that children love. The garden is enclosed and overlooked from the kitchen. Parks and a villagey high street with proper restaurants are minutes from the front door.

• Northfields Tube station (Piccadilly line) — 5 minutes' walk.
• South Kensington (V&A, Natural History Museum, Science Museum) — ~30 minutes door to door.
• Knightsbridge for Harrods and Hyde Park — ~30 minutes.
• Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus — ~35 minutes.
• Heathrow Airport — direct on the same Piccadilly line, ~35 minutes. No changes with luggage.
• Notting Hill (Bank Holiday Carnival is in short Uber distance) — ~20 minutes.
The neighbourhood — villagey, green, with proper restaurants
Northfields is one of West London's most family-friendly pockets, quiet residential streets, leafy front gardens, and a properly villagey high street that locals are very proud of. Ealing Broadway, with the Elizabeth Line straight into central London in 15 minutes and a much bigger choice of restaurants and shops, is a 15-minute bus-ride.
Who this house works best for:
We're being upfront because it makes for happier stays on both sides. This is a real family home, so it's particularly suited to:
• Responsible adults travelling with friends and/or with children.
• Guests who want to use London like a local: market mornings on the high street, park afternoons, museum days in town, evenings cooking in the kitchen.
It's not the right fit for parties, large groups of adults, or one-night stopovers near Heathrow.
Good to know:
• Travel cot, high chair available on request.
• Fast Wi-Fi throughout.
• On-street parking is free at evenings and weekends; permits available for weekday use.
• Self check-in via smart lock. The owner is contactable for anything urgent throughout your stay.
