1970s house near Udsholdt beach with vintage charm

You’ll be staying in an authentic 1970s house built in 1973, where the original “cigar box” atmosphere—with warm wood on the walls, ceilings, and floors—has been preserved. The house is decorated with vintage finds and hand-embroidered pictures, and you can enjoy all your meals on the large terrace.



Inside, you’ll find striped sofas where you can read one of the many novels from the bookshelves while looking out at the fruit trees in the garden. All the furnishings are secondhand and vintage, creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere throughout the house.



The garden is teeming with cherry and fruit trees, and on the terrace, butterfly bushes bloom in the sun. If it gets too hot, you can cool off under the outdoor shower.



Put on your bathrobe and take a 5-minute walk to Udsholdt Beach, where you can jump off the pier or collect stones with holes in them. Explore the protected shipwreck site with its heathland and dunes, or drive 10 minutes to the town of Gilleleje. Enjoy an ice cream at Søsters Is, catch crabs at the harbor pier, or eat open-faced sandwiches with a view of Sweden at Fyrkroen.
