About this house rental

Summary:

A carefully renovated farmhouse at the edge of the Gulke Putten woodland, where open fields give way to forest. Four bedrooms, a fully fenced garden and a terrace that catches the morning sun. Outside there is only the wood and the sound of it. Inside, everything is ready, so you arrive with nothing to bring but time.

The Space:

Behind the old façade, the farmhouse has been rebuilt with care. A generous, light-filled living area opens into the kitchen, with room to gather or to scatter. Four bedrooms are spread across the house, served by two bathrooms. One point worth knowing before you book: two of the bedrooms run in sequence, so the double room is reached by passing through the twin room. It suits a family or friends travelling together well, and is something to keep in mind for two couples sharing. Beds are made and linens laid out before you arrive, so the details are handled and you do not have to think about them.

Guest Access:

The entire house and garden are yours for the length of your stay. The garden is fully enclosed, safe for children and dogs, with a terrace for slow mornings and long evenings. Private parking is on the property, so you arrive and stay put.

The Neighborhood:

The house sits where farmland turns to forest, on the edge of the Gulke Putten nature reserve. Walking and cycling routes leave from the front door, through the Vagevuur woods and the Bulskampveld. It is quiet here in the way that only the countryside is, the kind of quiet you feel your shoulders drop into.

Getting Around:

Bruges and Ghent are both around thirty minutes by car, for the days you want a city. Ostend-Bruges airport is roughly forty minutes away. A car is the easiest way to reach the house and to explore the region, and there is private parking on site.

Other Things to Note:

All bed linen and towels are included, and the beds are made for your arrival. Please note that the layout connects two of the bedrooms: to reach the double room, you walk through the room with two single beds. A refundable security deposit is arranged separately with the owner after booking, and returned after your stay. Pets are welcome on request. This is a place to slow down rather than a base for large gatherings, and it is not an event venue. de lammersdamhoeve is part of the fields, moroww's rural collection, and every home is inspected in person before it joins.

Interaction with Guests:

Arrival is self-guided and seamless. You let yourself in and settle straight in, with everything prepared in advance so your stay is entirely your own. Should anything come up, someone is reachable and close by. Otherwise the house is yours, and your privacy is complete.
