About this cottage rental
The semi-detached property is reached via a steep footpath, with steps leading to the front door. Inside, a welcoming holiday home awaits, with contemporary decor and exceptional views. The ground floor is home to an elegant dining room, as well as a gorgeous sunroom for relaxing in with a good book. The separate kitchen has all the equipment needed to whip up delicious feasts, and there’s also a handy utility area. A single bedroom and a family bathroom complete this floor, with the remaining bedrooms on the lower level. Six stairs lead to the elevated lounge, which features a floor-to-ceiling picture window, cosy wood burner, Smart TV, and patio doors leading to a balcony. The property has a large, enclosed garden with a raised decked area for al fresco dining, and a lawn where children can play.
Mumbles is a traditional seaside village, with a fabulous array of boutiques and gift shops, as well as a great range of independent eateries. Grab an ice cream and wander along the pier, or stride out along the Wales Coast Path to explore the nearby beaches of Bracelet Bay or Rotherslade. For history enthusiasts, a visit to the 12th-century Oystermouth Castle is a must. Mumbles is the gateway to the Gower Peninsula, and you’ll have easy access to some of its most iconic beauty spots, including Rhossili Bay and Worm’s Head (17 miles).
