About this cabin rental
Summary:
Unique cabin nestled on the Carrabassett River located one mile from the Sugarloaf Access Road. Enjoy private access to the Maine Huts & Trails System for all your winter and summer activities. All the essentials in addition to cable, internet and best of all…use of private hot tub alongside the river.
The Space:
The Cabin is equipped with a modern eat-in kitchen and open concept living room. Bathroom with stand up shower located on the first floor. Stairwell leads into the first bedroom (open concept) which holds one twin bed and one full bed. The second bedroom (enclosed) accommodates two people with a queen bed and ample closet and drawer space. We have provided an air mattress for additional bed options. A maximum total of 6 guests. The back entrance leads to the patio with private hot tub while you listen to the river roar. There's also a small area with a built in fire pit for your personal use. Lastly, we have private trail access for all season use that leads to the Narrow Gauge Pathway of the Maine Huts and Trails System!
Guest Access:
Our guests have access to a private hot tub on the back patio as well as a fire pit.
The Neighborhood:
Our cabin is in a prime location for accessing Sugarloaf Mountain as well as many restaurants nearby. Kingfield and Stratton are 15 minutes in either direction (North and South) which have grocery stores, restaurants and other trail systems for outdoor recreation.
Getting Around:
Sugarloaf Shuttle Bus stops at Campbell Field which is a short walk from the cabin.
Other Things to Note:
House Rules:
We ask that you leave the home as you found it, dishes should be washed and put away, furniture all in its place, check out instructions followed the morning of your departure, etc.
No smoking or vaping (of any kind) in the house.
Pet's are allowed (up to 2) for a one time fee of $50. We ask that you be mindful of your pets, we are happy to host them but please be respectful of the home and property! This includes keeping them off furniture if possible (if not, use a throw blanket or towel) and not leaving them unattended for long periods of time.
We ask that you clean up their waste and dispose of it in the exterior garbage cans.
IMPORTANT: If we feel the hot tub has been mistreated or misused we will charge $100 for any damages that occur during your stay (ex: excess amount of water loss, food/littering around the tub, etc.)
We kindly ask you remove trash & returnables from the home the day of your departure and place in designated barrels (refer to house manual.)
We understand accidents happen, if anything is broken during your stay, please notify your Host/Co-Host.
No large gatherings or events without owner's written permission. Limit number of guests to those that have been accounted for in the rental.
Extra's:
All consumables such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soaps, detergents, etc. are provided. The kitchen is also well stocked with basics like spices, oil, sugar, etc.

We live nearby and are available by text or call throughout your stay.
