The Space:
The setting is intimate, serene, and secluded. When you first walk in, you'll enter the naturally lit living room, which also transforms into a bedroom at your convenience. Once you pull back the curtain, our primary bed is neatly stored and tucked away, all made and ready for you to relax in. Just pull down the Murphy style bed and un-click the straps, you've now transformed this space into your very own bedroom that can easily be tidied up and put away. The wood stove keeps the entire space warm and cozy while you relax in bed or hang out on the couch.
Take a step up where you'll find our open kitchen/dining area. Comfortable dining set for six and Rinnai heating system to take the chill off while you get a fire going in our wood stove. The kitchen offers everything you would need to cook a meal and then some! Gas stove, espresso and filter coffee machine and all the necessary dining ware is provided.
The newly remodeled bathroom offers tile flooring with radiant heat and a soaking tub with a rain shower head. To access the loft space you'll find a strong and sturdy built in ladder that leads directly up to two small bedrooms each containing a queen bed, separated by a catwalk. Comfortable and cozy linens will keep you relaxing in bed on those colder nights.
Our built in deck with our newly added outdoor fire pit is located directly out the back door. It's mossy like features and natural rock slab makes for a great spot to set up a few chairs and enjoy the stars for the evening. A new hot tub added to the deck is a great way to relax under the night stars.

Other Things to Note:
House Rules:
We ask that you leave the home as you found it, dishes should be washed and put away, furniture all in its place, check out instructions followed the morning of your departure, etc.
No smoking or vaping (of any kind) in the house.
We do not allow pets at this property. If this rule is broken there will be a $100 fee.
We kindly ask you remove trash & returnables from the home the day of your departure and place in designated barrels (refer to house manual.)
IMPORTANT: If we feel the hot tub has been mistreated or misused we will charge $100 for any damages that occur during your stay (ex: excess amount of water loss, food/littering around the tub, etc.)
We understand accidents happen, if anything is broken during your stay, please notify your Host/Co-Host.
No large gatherings or events without owner's written permission. Limit number of guests to those that have been accounted for in the rental.
Extra's:
This property is located on a rural dirt road right outside of Kingfield. We recommend either an AWD vehicle or studded snow tires depending on weather conditions.
At full capacity, we can accommodate up to 6 guests. Keep in mind that the sleeping quarters are small and not extremely private. It's best suited for 2-4 guests unless you plan to be off adventuring most of your stay!
We suggest a minimum age of 10 years or older for sleeping in our loft. The ladder is steep and the hatch is meant for a teen or adult to open and close as it would be dangerous for children under 10 to use it on their own.
The town of Kingfield recently acquired a 215 acre parcel which includes Shiloh Pond, this is accessible at the end of Tufts Pond Rd just two miles from the cabin! This Community Forest has walking trails and access points for canoes/kayaks as it continues to be developed for public use.
