Just an 18-minute drive to Sugarloaf Mountain, it’s ideal for skiers, snowboarders, and winter sports lovers. Not a skier? No worries! With plenty of driveway space for snowmobile trailers, you’ll enjoy direct access to the Interconnected Trail System (ITS) from the property.
The Space:
Welcome to our eco-friendly retreat in the stunning Western Mountains of Maine, where natural light fills the space, and solar panels above the garage power much of the home. This family-friendly getaway has everything you need for a relaxing, adventure-filled stay.
As you enter through the walk-in basement, you’ll find a convenient gear-storage area and a cozy bedroom with a full bed—perfect for unwinding after a day of skiing or snowmobiling.
Head upstairs to the main level, where our open-concept kitchen, dining area, and living room provide a warm and inviting space for gathering. The fully stocked kitchen includes an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, French press coffee maker, spices, dinnerware, and all essential cookware. Two large dining tables offer seating for up to 8 adults or a mix of adults and kids, and we’re happy to provide kid-friendly amenities like two booster seats, a clip-on high chair, and child locks on most lower cabinets.
Natural light floods every room, bringing our beautiful plant life to life. We’ve taken care of all the details, providing cozy bedding, towels, and consumables. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use. While we encourage guests to disconnect and explore Kingfield’s natural beauty and nearby activities, reliable internet is provided for those who need to stay connected.
Our dog-friendly home is ideally located near snowmobile, ATV, hiking, cross-country, and mountain biking trails. Kingfield offers local shops, a grocery store, and gas stations, with a variety of nearby restaurants—just ask your host for recommendations. Enjoy all the comforts of home in this relaxing mountain retreat!
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire property (excluding the garage.) Front deck you are welcome to access and the kids outside play set is free for young ones to use!
Other Things to Note:
We are dog friendly and have a one time fee. (Two pets maximum) NO CATS (Homeowner is allergic!!)
We ask that you leave the home as you found it, dishes should be washed and put away, furniture all in its place, etc.
No smoking or vaping (of any kind) in the house.
No fireworks to be used on the property. This is private property and we do not consent to the use of fireworks.
No large gatherings or events without owner's written permission. Limit number of guests to those that have been accounted for in the rental.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked between 30 and 14 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.
