The Space:
Welcome to West Kingfield Retreat Home — a cozy and pet-friendly A-frame nestled just outside of downtown Kingfield, Maine. Ideal for families or small groups, this home comfortably sleeps 6–7 and offers year-round access to outdoor adventure.
A spacious driveway provides plenty of room for parking. Walk up onto our inviting front deck and enter through the main door into the heart of the home. Our main living room space features soaring cathedral-style A-frame ceilings that give the space an airy, comfortable feel. A leather L-shaped couch seats 5–6 guests and faces a Smart TV for relaxing nights in. A small wood-burning fireplace adds extra warmth in the winter and a romantic glow during cool fall evenings. A wooden bench offers a handy spot to sit and take off your gear after a long day of exploring.
Climb the sturdy wooden ladder to reach the cozy loft area, furnished with a full-sized bed and a dresser for storing your belongings. The loft overlooks the main living space and is perfect for additional guests or older kids.
Off the living room is the master bedroom with a comfortable full-sized bed. Nearby, you’ll find a full bathroom with both a stand-up shower and a tub. We provide all your basic essentials, including towels, soap, and paper products.
Head downstairs to the coolest part of the house—literally! The cement flooring keeps the lower level naturally cool during summer months. This floor features a spacious open-concept kitchen and dining area, with a table that seats four. The kitchen includes an electric stove/oven, fridge, air fryer, regular drip coffee maker, and basic cookware for simple meals at home.
On the lower level, you'll find two additional bedrooms—one with two twin beds and the second with a single twin bed and a small desk/workspace for those needing a quiet corner to focus or work remotely with our high speed interent.
A private back door leads you to our backyard space, surrounded by trees and greenery. Fire up the propane grill for a summer cookout or gather around the fire pit in the evening to unwind under the stars.
Conveniently located just minutes from downtown Kingfield and close to Sugarloaf Mountain or Saddleback Mountain, you’ll have easy access to hiking, biking, skiing, and snowmobiling—making this the perfect four-season retreat.

House Rules:
We ask that you leave the home as you found it, dishes should be washed and put away, furniture all in its place, check out instructions followed the morning of your departure, etc.
No smoking or vaping (of any kind) in the house.
Pet's are allowed (up to 2) for a one time fee of $50. We ask that you be mindful of your pets, we are happy to host them but please be respectful of the home and property! This includes keeping them off furniture if possible (if not, use a throw blanket or towel) and not leaving them unattended for long periods of time.
We ask that you clean up their waste and dispose of it in the exterior garbage cans.
We kindly ask you remove trash & returnables from the home the day of your departure and place in designated barrels (refer to house manual.)
We understand accidents happen, if anything is broken during your stay, please notify your Host/Co-Host.
No large gatherings or events without owner's written permission. Limit number of guests to those that have been accounted for in the rental.
