House in Columbia City, WA
Reasons to book
About this house rental
Multi-level townhome · 2 bedrooms (king + queen) · 1.5 baths · sleeps 4 · AC · self check-in
Columbia City's restaurant row is down the hill, Lake Washington's beaches are a short walk the other way, and the light rail puts you downtown in about 15 minutes. Bringing a car? It gets its own garage.
Most townhomes save their best for the living room. This one saves it for the roof, so we'll start up top and work down.
Fair warning first: it's a townhouse, which means stairs between levels. Guests say the top is worth the climb, but if stairs are a dealbreaker, this isn't your place. The garage driveway is also relatively steep (~10 degrees), so low clearance vehicles will need to come in and exit at an angle. The garage fits a car slightly larger than a Tesla Model Y.
THE ROOFTOP
──────────────────────
Your own private deck above it all, with outdoor seating and a gas fire pit. Because it runs on gas it lights instantly, makes no smoke, and keeps working even when summer burn bans shut down every wood fire in the city. Have your coffee up here before the city wakes up, or get a fire going after dinner and watch the sun set over the treetops of Cheasty Greenspace.
LIVING + KITCHEN
──────────────────────
Light-filled open living space with a smart TV and a dining table that seats the whole group. The kitchen is fully equipped: stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, cooking basics, and proper wine glasses. You can cook like you live here, not like you're camping.
THE BEDROOMS
──────────────────────
Two real bedrooms, each private: one with a king bed, one with a queen, both on memory-foam mattresses. A full bathroom plus a half bath means nobody's queueing for the sink. Bed linens, hangers, an iron, and a hair dryer are all here, so pack light.
THE OFFICE
──────────────────────
A dedicated den with a standing desk and an external monitor (HDMI or USB-C), on 500 Mbps Wi-Fi. It's an actual setup you can put in a full day at, not a laptop balanced on the kitchen counter. If you work remotely, this is your week-long base.
THE GARAGE
──────────────────────
Private garage parking is included, with its own keyless entry code: pull in and you're home. You'll never circle the block, mess with a parking app, or run out to a meter in the morning, and in this city that alone is worth the booking. Street parking out front is free if you have a second car.
LAUNDRY
──────────────────────
Washer and dryer in the home, with detergent provided. Handy for long stays, ski bags, or washing everything after a hike.

Empire Roasters & Records pulls house-roasted espresso and has a wall of vinyl to browse, and The Flour Box makes brioche doughnuts people cross the city for.
