Ortigia is a restricted traffic zone (ZTL) where vehicle access is limited. We recommend walking after parking, as all points of interest are within a few minutes’ walk. The Syracuse bus and train stations are accessible on foot, by taxi, or via the convenient SAIS city buses. The suite is located in the historic center of Ortigia, a restricted traffic zone (ZTL). We recommend parking and then walking to the property.
A 50-square-meter apartment with a large 60-square-meter private terrace in the historic center of Ortigia, in a quiet and secluded area. Completely renovated in early 2026, it offers a relaxing setting for a vacation as a couple or with the family. Spread over two levels, this private apartment is located on Piazza San Giuseppe, on the first floor of a private building consisting of three units. It consists of: a private entrance with a hallway and a dining area featuring a kitchen equipped with an induction cooktop, a kettle, a coffee maker, a refrigerator, and a freezer. There is a dining table that seats three and a TV. An internal staircase with a handrail leads to the upper floor, where there is a spacious bedroom with a sloped ceiling featuring exposed wooden beams, a king-size bed, a single bed, and a window offering a beautiful view of the Baroque church of San Domenico. The bedroom features a spacious closet, a large shelf unit with a stool, and an en suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and bidet. The bedroom opens onto a very large private terrace of approximately 60 square meters. A pergola shades the outdoor dining area from the sun, and you’ll have access to several lounge chairs and two sunbeds. You’ll be shielded from prying eyes, as no neighbors have a view of the inner terrace. The Terrace Suite is one of three units that make up the San Giuseppe 9 property, along with a shared entry area featuring a comfortable sofa, a desk, and a guest bathroom with an additional laundry area available to all guests.
