About this apartment rental
The space
Designed for comfort and practicality, this studio has a private entrance and offers everything needed for a relaxing stay for one or two guests.
A wide horizontal window and full-height garden doors provide natural daylight and excellent cross-ventilation. Built into the natural rock of the hillside, the apartment benefits from the stone's natural thermal mass, helping to maintain a pleasantly cool and comfortable indoor climate even during the hottest summer days.
The studio features a comfortable queen-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining and work area, a compact bathroom, high-speed Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
Guests can also enjoy the garden and outdoor seating area, perfect for a morning coffee or a relaxing evening after a day at the beach.
Guest access
The guests have access to their apartment, the parking for guests and the upper garden.
This part of Budva is on a hill slope, so it has great vistas and a special microclimate with a pleasant breeze. It also means that moving on foot is easy toward the sea and the Old Town, but the return demands more effort.
Luckily, Budva is still very small and compact, almost completely within the circle with a 2 km diameter. There are (at least) three ways to reach the house, so you can choose the inclination, or opt for the car or a taxi ride (always on call!).
The rapid urbanisation of Budva has not been followed by an appropriate infrastructure and public space development. The streets may be degraded, and the walk may not be picture-perfect, but the views and comfort from our house make up for it.
Other things to note
The studio is located on the lower ground floor and is accessed either via a short flight of exterior steps between two garden terraces or by a gently sloping access path. The property follows the natural topography of the hillside, preserving the original terraced landscape that once shaped the site.
As the apartment is built directly into the natural rock, the main living and sleeping area is raised by 40 cm (two interior steps) above the entrance, kitchen and bathroom level. This design reflects the site's original geology while contributing to the apartment's naturally comfortable indoor climate.
Please note that the lawn is part of the garden and is not intended for parking. The classic Volkswagen Golf shown in some photos is a permanent feature of the garden and forms part of the property's character. It is not moved or used during guests' stays.
If you are travelling with family or friends, feel free to ask about, or check my other listing for, a second apartment in the same house.
