Love that this historical location is getting a new life. And when we stayed they were building a restaurant/bar. Loved the dark sky mission. But travelers might want to arrive BEFORE SUNSET. it is dark! Biggest TV i have ever seen in a motel room and the fridge was also surprisingly large. Of course the mineral pool was a highlight!!
Some folks might not like see free range steer/cows in the parking lot and grass -- we thought it was a woot. Management did ask them in a gentle way to move on.
