The parking situation was unclear on the listing and we didn't receive more details on appropriate places to park until we entered the rental. This would be helpful in advance. We noticed that the unit didn't have any surface cleaner or sponges available to use. I had to purchase my own cleaner and sponge to clean counters and dishes. Some things in the unit were thoughtful for a long stay we appreciated the extra kitchen towels and paper towels. Fans would have been helpful in the unit to improve air flow. In terms of comfort, everything in this house is uncomfortably tall. The beds in the 3 large bedrooms were very tall and uncomfortably lumpy. The middle support post in the king bed was broken. There were no bug bed covers on the beds we checked, which was disturbing, especially in a dog friendly house. The tall kitchen table was also especially dangerous for sitting children, and wouldn't have fit a high chair. These features (tall beds/ tall dining table/glass side tables) made the listing not feel child friendly.

We had a great time at the house. The host communicates in a very timely manner. It was comfortable and clean. Perfect for a group of 6. The location was also very convenient being able to take a short walk to the old mill district and a short drive downtown. In addition for families wishing to ski, access to century drive was easy, shortening the trip to mount bachelor. My only complaint and this would be nitpicking was that the 4th bedroom seems like a converted office that is right next to the living room. The sliding door does not seal well, so whoever sleeps there should be the 1st one up and last to go to bed.
