Welcome to your charming Hill East retreat, a beautifully historic & restored 1928 rowhome blending historic character with modern comfort. This spacious 2-bedroom features two Queen beds, bright living spaces, a fully-equipped kitchen, cozy dining areas and a relaxing covered front porch. Located close to Lincoln Park and a 4-minute walk to the Stadium-Armory METRO station, with convenient access to Eastern Market, local cafes, and some of Washington DC's most iconic attractions.



The Space:

Step into a classic Capitol Hill East rowhome thoughtfully designed with warm interiors, natural light and comfortable spaces perfect for families, friends, business travelers or extended stays.



Upstairs, you will find two queen bedrooms and a full bath. Each bedroom has a mini split air-conditioner. There is plenty of storage for clothing. The front bedroom has darkening curtains and a ceiling fan.

Located in Capitol Hill East, known as Barney Circle, this home offers a peaceful residential setting while remaining just a short drive from many of DC’s top attractions.



You can walk to restaurants and shops near historic (1873) Eastern Market or to The Roost (food hall). The Stadium Armory Metro stop is only one block away. There are also DC bikes in the neighborhood to rent. We also have a little park right across the house, and the historic Congressional Cemetery (great for an evening stroll) is just a couple of blocks away.

Getting Around:

4-minute walk to the nearest METRO-rail station stop, at the Stadium-Armory station, with BLUE/ORANGE/SILVER lines.



The closest METRO bus stop is at 17 St SE & C St SE, which is another convenient way of getting around the city.



The closest Bikeshare station is at the Stadium-Armory METRO-rail stop. The other is at 15th St & Massachusetts Ave SE.



Scooters and other motorized vehicles are available for rent on whatever corner of the city you might find them :) Simply use your smartphone and their app(s) to activate the vehicle.



Washington, D.C. is a very walkable and well-connected city, making it easy to explore without a car. The METRO system (subway and buses) links all major neighborhoods and attractions, while bike-share stations, scooters, and rideshare (Uber, Lyft) services are widely available.

FREE street parking is available. Please let us know ahead of time if you will be bringing a car during your stay.



Important NOTE*: The back yard is not available to our guests, because we share the backyard with our neighbor to our right (it's a double wide back yard), and where you may notice a dog from time to time. The front porch, however, is exclusively for our guests!



Please also NOTE**: the rental comprises the top floors of the home, where the private and totally separate basement level may be occupied as well from time to time during your stay.
