Continuing further eastward into eastern Sardinia, you’ll reach other wonderful beaches in Ogliastra.
Toward the North: You can easily access endless stretches of fine sand and emerald waters, such as the beaches of Cartoe, Osalla, and Su Barone, continuing on to the splendid Biderosa and Berchidda nature reserves.
The Hinterland: The area is sheltered by the rugged Supramonte, rich in archaeological sites and millennia-old traditions. Don’t miss the breathtaking hikes along the coast or inland, at the Gorroppu Gorge and the primary forests, as well as canoe or kayak trips to the headwaters of Su Gologone and hiking excursions to Cala Goloritzè, Cala Luna, and Cala Mariolu...
