Mid Century Lanai Retreat w/private hot tub!

Waking in the door for the first time was a wonderful experience! All the mid century modern touches, bright colours, light flooding into every room and newly renovated space was a treat for our stay in the desert. Everything and I mean everything was brand new! New tiles, new paint, curated art for walls, new appliances and kitchen tools, new outdoor furniture, new linens….you get the picture. If this was our place I don’t think we would’ve done anything differently because the space worked for us and was totally our vibe. There are two outdoor lounging areas….one that had a large dining table, patio heater, two grills, hot tub and umbrella. This was a very private walled space that was great for morning coffee or a hot tub after a day of golfing, etc. The other space was a patio with yet another heater, fire table, loungers and chairs. This faced into the common courtyard which had lovely gardens and a pool. We didn’t take advantage of the pool because the weather wasn’t exactly conducive at that time of year but it was nice to sit beside it and talk to the occasional neighbour wandering by. Being close to the airport wasn’t a disadvantage at all because it was fun to watch the occasional jets or sightseeing old timer aircrafts circle around. Proximity to shops and restaurants was a short drive or Uber ride away. We took advantage of some of our old favourite spots and discovered a few new ones. Hopefully this place will be available for our next desert adventure.

my husband and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this first class property. everything was curated beautifully, the high level of detail that went into decorating and kitting it out did not go unnoticed. we are looking forward to repeat visit next year! laurie and paul

We stayed a month at this amazing and comfortable home. It is so beautiful both inside and out. It looks even better than the pictures indicate. The kitchen is very complete with new high end appliances, I was especially fond of the built in icemaker. Beds are very comfortable as is all the furniture. We loved the private hot tub to sooth muscles after hiking in the hills. Covered parking is close to the front door. There is a very complete instruction manual online that covers everything including local recommendations, the owners are also readily available and helpful for any questions or concerns. This is a smart home and there are many enjoyable amenities such as household music selection/control via Alexa. If you are lucky enough to stay here there are even more things to discover for your comfort and enjoyment. We loved staying here. You will too.

The casita was nice. It wasn’t clear to me but ultimately learned that none of the resort amenities was available to renters of this unit. Also the VRBO ad showed garages as part of the property. We found out later that we had to park in the street.
