The outdoor fire may be used when there is no Total Fire Ban. One tin chest of firewood is included with your stay, with additional firewood available if requested.
The original indoor fireplaces are decorative only. Ducted heating and cooling provide comfortable temperatures throughout the home in every season.
For your security, external cameras are located at the front door, side entrance and back gate.

Old world charm with updated conveniences. The house maintains its heritage including the polished floorboards, high ceilings, intricate architrave, original switches, tiling, etc; however, modern updates include fantastic indoor heating system, wifi, Rinnai water heating system, carpet, kitchen appliances, pool and outdoor fireplace.There is plenty of room and the bedrooms and linen provided were fantastic - flannel sheets provided during our winter stay!The hosts were very proactive and easy to communicate with during our stay. The location is fantastic - Queens Arm pub is a short walk and city centre is easily accessible. We had an event on at the Red Energy Stadium - we were able to easily get there within 10 minutes.We loved the space to move about with group of 7 (including 4 adults and 3 children), the outdoor fireplace provided a great opportunity to catch up away from devices and the locations provided easy access to all of our needs.
