Bedroom 1: Zip And Link Kingsize Bed (2 x Singles On Request), Smart TV Ensuite: Walk-In Shower, Toilet
Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Walk-In Bath, Toilet. Electric central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Grounds with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Hot tub for 4 (private). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced lake in the grounds.. Each lodge is a bespoke cedar build, combining modern interiors with the warmth and character of natural wood. Inside, you’ll find a cosy yet contemporary space, while outside, a private decking area invites you to slow down and enjoy your surroundings. The highlight for many guests is the hot tub, perfectly positioned for soaking in the calm lakeside atmosphere. Tinted glass and smart positioning ensure a sense of seclusion, allowing you to relax in privacy while still feeling connected to the landscape.
Beyond the lodges, the wider area offers plenty to explore. Just a short walk away, the River Tees provides opportunities for water-based activities, from kayaking to paddleboarding, for those who bring their own equipment. The nearby countryside is ideal for scenic walks and cycling routes, with peaceful fishing spots and open views adding to the sense of escape. At Holmewood Lakes we also offer fishing around our lakes for our guests to enjoy or a short walk to our private jetty where you can bring your own equipment and take to the water in any water sport activity you choose or sit and relax by the river or go fishing instead. If you choose to bring a boat to launch from our jetty, a launch fee and retrival fee of £60 will apply.
A short drive brings you into Yarm, a charming market town known for its independent shops, cafés, and riverside setting. You’ll also find a variety of local attractions, from nature reserves to heritage sites, as well as seasonal markets and events that give the area its character.
