About this apartment hotel
Room for five, a private deck, and a kitchenette — Camboose #3 is a family-sized gem of Base Camp at Haliburton Forest. If you're travelling with kids, a mix of couples, or a group that needs a bit more elbow room, this is your unit.
One bedroom features a double bed and a single, while the second bedroom has two single beds — a flexible layout that works for families and small groups alike. The kitchenette is fully stocked: two-burner cooktop, bar-size fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and kettle, with all the cookware and dishes you'll need. A three-piece bathroom, dining area, and — uniquely among the Camboose units — a private outside deck for morning coffees and evening star-gazing. Linens, pillows, facecloths, towels, dish soap and hand soap are all provided.
To be environmentally conscious the units are not supplied with any single use products. Please bring your own coffee (we have filters for the machine), tea, spices, shampoo, conditioner and soap for the shower.
Your pets are genuinely welcome here.

Camboose #3 sits at the heart of Haliburton Forest's Base Camp — the Camp Store, Boshkung Smokehouse, and the Wolf Centre are all within a short stroll. Over 400 km of trails for hiking, biking, and trail running, await just beyond your deck.
Cook smores over a fire at one of our communal firepits, enjoy an outdoor game from our games shed and be sure to test your skills finding our hidden Geocaches!
When planning your trip be sure to book our guided experiences ahead of time: Canopy Tour, Clay Target Shooting, Ice Fishing, Fly Fishing, Tin Boat Fishing and/or one of our many exceptional experiences through Yours Outdoors and the Wolf Centre: Dinner With Wolves, Guided Fishing, Glassblowing, etc.
