★ GETTING TO THE CABIN ★
The roads are paved the entire route.
New and improved driveway as of July 2026!
The driveway has been completely replaced and widened in July 2026, making access to the cabin significantly easier than before. As with many mountain cabins in the area, the driveway is still somewhat steep and may feel a bit intimidating on your first drive up. However, most guests quickly become comfortable with it and agree the incredible views are well worth it!
If you are uncomfortable driving on steep mountain roads or driveways, this cabin may not be the best fit for your stay.
The main road to get to the cabin like most roads in the Smokey Mountains will be winding and narrow in places (still room for two cars to pass each other).
We're at the top of the mountain road from where you get to enjoy the beautiful view.
On average, it may take 10 minutes to get to the nearest supermarket/grocery store, so plan accordingly.
4-wheel drive/AWD is not necessary but highly recommended in icy or inclement weather conditions. Front wheel drive vehicles are highly discouraged and have the hardest time navigating steep hills and driveways.
★ PARKING ★
4 vehicle maximum.
We do not advise bringing a trailer behind your vehicle due to the narrow winding mountain roads and lack of space to park a long trailer/vehicle combo at the cabin.
Other things to note:

★ OTHER INFO ★
The fireplace is shut down April 1st to October 1st as with every cabin in the area. This is a gas only fireplace. Do not attempt to put wood or any other material in the fireplace.
You are in the Smokey Mountains and may see and hear critters, bears, bugs, spiders, etc.
Squirrels and other critters can and will get on the roof of the cabin from time to time. The cabin roof is metal so you will likely hear anything that gets up there including rain drops.
Bears are dangerous. If you see a bear, stay inside!
Do not feed bears or any other wild animals.
Do not store food or food wrappers inside your vehicle. Bears can and will break in to vehicles to get food.
If you’re lucky enough to see a bear near the cabin, please observe from a safe distance and never approach them or any other wild animals.
Please review our cancellation policy. We do not offer refunds for inclement weather, power/internet outages or any issues that are outside of our control.
Our cabin cleaners are exceptional. We receive detailed photos before each guest so we can ensure that your stay will be great and held to the highest standards of cleanliness. If any issues arise, please contact the host immediately so we can resolve any issues.
The hot tub is drained, cleaned and refilled after each guest, so it will take a few hours from the time it was refilled to reach the maximum temperature.
