We had a wonderful vacation with our teen boys. The location is perfect—far enough away to escape city noise, but close enough to run to town daily for Dollywood, Splash Country, Stampede, go-karts, and horseback riding.Deck & Views: We spent most of our time on the patio enjoying mountain views. Amazingly, we only saw one mosquito! The hot tub was great AND WE SAW BEARS RIGHT NEXT TO THE DECK. Comforts & Linens: The AC easily beat the June heat. Check-in/out was super easy. The washer/dryer got the job done, water pressure and temp were excellent, and there were plenty of nice, plush bath towels.Things to Know (Especially for Flat-Landers): Driveway: Coming from Kansas, the steep mountain driveway was intimidating at first and backing out is a chore. GPS & Cell Service: Car GPS couldn't find the cabin, but phones did. Take screenshots before entering the National Park—there is absolutely zero cell service there, and car GPS won't help.Bed & Master Closet: The master bed is quite firm (my husband slept fine, but I woke up sore). The closet has a vacuum and high chair, but no clothing hangers.TV & Missing Extras: Every room has a TV, but the master Dish remote didn't work even with new batteries. The kitchen is small but fully stocked. We couldn't find an ironing board and really wished for some extra cozy blankets for sunrises/sunsets on the deck.We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cabin with beautiful views! Loved the fireplace and the view from the hot tub. It was a great stay and the privacy was nice. The only minor problem was that the road didn't get treated at all after a winter storm. A small price to pay for a cabin a little off of the main road.
