GUESTS:
All people staying in the house must be registered guests on the reservation.
No additional visitors allowed.
PARKING:
Guests may park on any of the driveway space on the property. Please do not drive on the grass or park on the grass.
QUIET TIME:
Please observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am in order to respect the neighbors on the lake.
LAKE USE:
All children should be supervised in and around the lake at all times. No diving off dock as the water is too shallow for diving. Fishing is allowed and a few fishing poles and tackle box are provided. Kayaks, paddle boards, and life jackets are available for guest use and should be returned to the outdoor stand after use. Use of the lake is at the guests' own risk and the host does not assume responsibility for injury or harm.
FOOD/DRINKS:
A welcome basket of snacks is provided for guests to consume. Please leave the empty basket in the kitchen when finished. A drink fridge in the kitchen has sparkling waters and water bottles for guest consumption. There is olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper, and some basic spices available for use in the kitchen as well. There may be a few condiments or other consumables left in the fridge by the host after previous guest use. It is up to the individual guest as to whether to use the food/condiments that are in the fridge.
SPECIAL KITCHEN REQUESTS:
There is not an insinkerator/garbage disposal in the kitchen sink, but there is a small metal basket that sits in the drain to collect food scraps. Please leave the metal basket in the drain to ensure that large food scraps do not go down the drain. Empty the metal basket as needed into the trash can and then replace it into the kitchen sink drain. IMPORTANT - we ask that you do not pour any bacon/meat grease down the kitchen sink drain.
NO PETS:
No exceptions due to host allergies to pets.
NO SMOKING OR VAPING.
NO PARTIES. Consumption of alcohol is allowed with discretion, but no underage drinking.
ISSUES DURING STAY:
Occasionally a power outage may occur due to weather. No refunds are granted in the rare case of this happening. If there are any issues with maintenance, repair, or cleanliness, the guest must notify the host as soon as possible after check-in. We aim to make your stay as seamless and comfortable as possible and will respond as soon as possible to any unforeseen issues.
CHECK OUT:
Check out is at 11am. Before checking out, please gather all trash from the home and place the trash bags in the outside garbage bins on the far side of the garage. Please turn off all lights and leave both thermostats set at 75 degrees for the AC or 68 degrees for the heat. We request that all linens be left ON the beds and that all used towels be placed in bathrooms (on the floor is fine).
