About this house rental
Welcome to this well-equipped home located in the seaside community of Royal Bay, Colwood, British Columbia, steps away from beautiful sandy beaches, close to all major amenities & 25 minutes from both downtown Victoria & Sooke. Walking & bike paths weave through this beautifully planned residential neighbourhood, leading to parks, a cafe, a grocery store & a pharmacy.
Ideal for longer stays where travellers may wish to cook & relax at home between exploring all that Vancouver Island has to offer.
The space
This is a legal, independent, furnished, and fully equipped one-bedroom suite on the ground level of our home. It is 800 SF ( ~80 square meters). It has windows on three sides, which provide ventilation and natural light. It is sound and fireproofed per the municipality's code.
Guest access
This suite is geared towards longer stays. It has a stacked washer and dryer, a kitchen equipped with all the appliances and cooking/serving tools, a separate workspace, and very fast internet access. It has an awesome queen bed and a very comfortable, firm and flat queen sofa bed.
Other things to note
Please park your car in the designated parking space in the back lane. If you have to make a quick stop on the road, please park in the parking bays only.
As stated in the house rules, only one pet is permitted in the suite. Pets cannot be left alone in the suite, and must enter the suite via the front of house entrance not the garden entrance as there are other pets living on the property, and young children..
The cell reception has been improved, and it is fine at the moment. We still recommend to turn your WIFI calling feature on before arriving. This will ensure that your calls and texts remain reliable.
