One of the things we love most about Hakuna Matata Beach House is that it's truly oceanfront.



Being directly on the Atlantic means you'll experience the beauty—and the natural rhythms—of island life. During certain times of the year, Mother Nature may bring in patches of sargassum (sea grass/seaweed and their natural scent) and collects along the shoreline. This is a completely natural seasonal occurrence throughout the Florida Keys and Caribbean and varies depending on winds and currents.



While it occasionally collects along the shoreline, the breathtaking turquoise water, incredible sunrises, refreshing ocean breezes, and unforgettable views remain every bit as spectacular. For many guests, it's simply part of experiencing authentic oceanfront living in the Florida Keys.

Booking Policies



A 7-night minimum stay is required by City of Marathon regulations with no exceptions. Maximum occupancy includes all adults, children, and infants.



Cancellation Policy



We maintain a 60-day cancellation policy. Reservations canceled 60 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund, less a $150 administrative fee. Reservations made through Airbnb, VRBO, or other third-party booking platforms are subject to the cancellation policies of the platform where the reservation was made.
