The space
Off the great room is a lake-facing deck with an eastern view, perfect to catch a sunrise across the water with your morning coffee.

Your unlimited access to Spider Lake is the real treat here and with over 1200 acres you can spend days exploring.

Deer Point Retreat is part of the original Timber Bay Resort community which has a been bringing the Northern Wisconsin experience to visitors for almost a century.

While most outdoor space is common, our guests enjoy their own fire pit built into the bank overlooking Spider Lake as well as their own dock slip for those who want to bring their own boat.

Other things to note
Along with the nature and wildlife you come to enjoy in Northern Wisconsin, there comes some you wish might take a break during the summer.

Bugs like mosquitos, ants and lake flies are as much of the ecosystem as our bass, walleye and muskie. The cabin has bug spray if you forget yours at home and few mists most of the time is enough to keep them at bay.

Same is true on land, where the deer, raccoons and even occasional fox or coyote deserve to live in the forest and not a back yard, the bank can be steep and wild in places so, walk with care down to the lake.
