The village, with its grocery store and village pond, is 1 km away, and Maribo offers cafés, restaurants, and great shopping. A small forest 500 m from the house is perfect for a walk in the countryside.
Østersøbadet, with its swimming beach, is 5 km away and is an ideal destination for hot summer days. Lalandia is also nearby, offering swimming and activities for the whole family.
Knuthenborg Safari and the Crocodile Park are both popular destinations on Lolland. Nysted, with Ålholm Castle and the island’s many estates, is also worth exploring, and a new bridge to Germany is currently under construction.
