About this house rental
Dating back to 1901, this former 95 m² stone barn has been completely renovated with great care, while preserving everything that makes it unique: original stone walls, exposed wooden beams, impressive open spaces and the unmistakable character of the building. Natural wood, stone and contemporary finishes come together to create a bright, welcoming and comfortable home — a true countryside retreat.
The property is accessed through a private entrance and offers two parking spaces directly on site. A short pathway then leads to the private 35 m² terrace, reached by three steps. It is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor meals, relax in the sunshine or unwind in the private outdoor spa.
Inside, the spacious open-plan kitchen of approximately 16 m² naturally becomes the heart of the home. Fully equipped, filled with natural light and designed in a Scandinavian style, it opens directly onto the terrace through a large glass door. It is an inviting space for preparing a leisurely breakfast, cooking together or simply sharing a drink around the kitchen island.
The living area offers a wonderful sense of space, with a ceiling height of more than 4.50 metres. The exposed beams and overhead walkway celebrate the architecture of the original barn, while the 30 m² lounge invites you to relax with its large corner sofa and additional sofa bed.
Suspended above the living area, the catamaran-style relaxation net is one of the most distinctive features of the house. Settle in with a book, meditate, listen to music, take an afternoon nap or simply enjoy the peace and the unique perspective from above.
The house features two charming attic bedrooms, both comfortable and full of character, with exposed beams, storage space, Velux roof windows and soft, carefully designed lighting. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning, ensuring cool and restful nights even during the warmest summer days.
At more than 10 m², the bathroom has also been designed as a genuine space for relaxation. Its wood-effect tiles, exposed beams and layered lighting create an elegant and calming atmosphere. It includes a spacious walk-in shower of more than 2 m² with a built-in niche, a double vanity unit and a backlit mirror.
The entire house is air-conditioned, providing a comfortable temperature throughout every room in both summer and winter.
Outside, you will also have exclusive use of a private garden of approximately 200 m². The garden has recently been completely redesigned and is still being finished: the newly sown grass has not yet grown everywhere, so some areas may still consist of bare soil. The main gate, pedestrian gate and privacy screens have not yet been installed, which means the garden is not currently fully enclosed.
Despite these final outdoor improvements still being completed, you will enjoy a peaceful, practical and entirely private setting, where every detail has been considered to help you reconnect, unwind and spend a few days away from the pace of everyday life.
A character-filled barn dating back to 1901, a completely new interior, a private spa beneath the Périgord sky and a collection of inviting spaces where everyone can find their own favourite corner: welcome to a truly timeless escape.
