Welcome to The Treetop at Wrightsville Beach! It’s all about location! Situated on beautiful South Harbor Island, you will find yourself away from the hustle and bustle (and traffic!) of the beachfront scene. If you love a quaint and quiet family neighborhood, cedar shakes, sunny porches, and homes with stories to tell, we think you'll feel right at home here. It’s the perfect Wrightsville Beach home for making family memories!
Inside, you'll find classic, coastal charm that meets thoughtful, modern comfort featuring 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. This coastal cottage features a beautifully renovated kitchen, multiple living areas, a huge fenced in yard, and is just a short walk to the beach and the iconic Wrightsville Beach Loop. Relax, reconnect, and enjoy the charm of a Harbor Island beach home.
The completely remodeled kitchen is the heart of the home, featuring new appliances, custom cabinetry, generous prep space, and an open-concept design filled with natural light. While everything has been thoughtfully updated, the home's original architectural details—including the signature archway—remain, honoring its history while providing all the conveniences today's guests appreciate.
Comfort has been carefully considered throughout the home. The upper living level is served by central heating and air conditioning, while each of the four downstairs bedrooms features its own new mini-split system, allowing guests to customize temperatures room by room for a restful night's sleep or cozying up with one of the many classic novels situated throughout the home.
One of The Treetop's most unique features is its expansive fenced backyard—a true rarity on Harbor Island. Perfect if you’re “nap trapped” as we like to call it. Situated on one and a half lots, there's room for children to run, lawn games with the family, or simply relaxing beneath the coastal sky. The backyard also includes plenty of outdoor seating and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day on the beach.
We believe the best beach vacations are simple. We hope to offer a place where families create traditions as we did for our family. Bike rides, family dinners around the table, porch conversations with coffee in hand and reliving memorable days spent under the sun at the beach. Walkable to coffee and ice cream, what more could parents and kids want? Our goal is to provide a place where families can slow down, reconnect, and experience Wrightsville Beach the way generations have before them.

The Treetop is an elevated beach cottage with multiple steps, high porches, and decks. Guests should be comfortable using stairs, as the home is NOT wheelchair accessible, and the home may not be suitable for those with significant mobility limitations. Children should always be supervised at all times when using porches, decks, balconies, stairs, and other elevated areas of the property. Please review photos carefully before booking.
All linens are included with your stay, and beds will be made and ready for your arrival. A set of towels will be laid out for each guest. We also provide enough hand soap, dish soap, laundry & dishwasher pods, toilet paper, paper towels, & trash bags to get you started upon arrival. However, if you are staying longer than a couple of nights, please plan to supplement with your own supplies based on your personal needs.
Please plan to bring your own beach towels if you are visiting the beach.
There is both a standard drip coffee machine, as well as a Keurig - please remember to pack your favorite coffee!
