The space
Welcome to the Blue Haint Adventurers Club!! Originally known as the Harvey House, this house holds a special place in my heart. Gussie and Billy were chosen grandmothers of mine growing up (it takes a village). Gussie grew up in this house and it is one of the oldest structures in Tallulah Falls. The foundation is made up of stacked rock from fireplaces and railroad ties harvested from when they raised the railroad in 1913 (when they created an addition to the house). I'm not sure the first time I came into the house, but I think I was 5 or 6 years old. Gussie gave me the bronze horse that you can see on the bar. Long story short, I loved Gussie and Billy and I'm happy to bring back a little bit of them in the Blue Haint Adventurers Club!
The master bedroom has 15 foot tall ceilings with a King size memory foam bed, and a desk for working remotely. Outside the master bedroom is a bistro table for early morning coffee facing the backyard/forest.
The three additional bedrooms each have brand new Queen memory foam mattresses and cozy, allergen-free linens are offered throughout the house. One bedroom is the "Flex room" which contains a couch, two chairs, smart TV, and a daybed which can be used as a couch or a Queen bed.
There are two different hallway bathrooms. The bathrooms are stocked with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers, lotion and soap.
The bar room offers a custom 15 foot commercial bar, beverage fridge, bar sink, bar-ware, six bar stools, a large 65 inch smart TV, and Bose Bluetooth speaker. Bar lighting is controlled via smart switch with five preselected color scenes. Board games are provided for your enjoyment.
The kitchen is fully stocked for all of your cooking, baking and hosting needs. Complimentary ground coffee and press, coffee pods, tea and mixers are provided. Welcome snacks are also offered. A iron, steamer and ironing board are provided in the kitchen pantry
The wrap around porch has a patio lounge which offers ample seating with a view of Tallulah Lake. A charcoal grill is provided for use outside the porch area (charcoal not provided) along with a fire pit in the oval along with Adirondack chairs (firewood not provided).
The house is located on the edge of a 60 acre plot on the side of Hickory Nut Mountain on a secluded road. You will be a 5 min walk from the public access dock, 10 min walk to downtown (bluegrass on Saturdays!), and under 15 min walk from the trails of Tallulah Gorge!!
