Board a cruise, less than 1 mile away, to soak up the scenery from the lake itself, or follow a picturesque, 10-mile trail all the way around the water. Plan a trip out to Aira Force Waterfall, on the shores of Ullswater, 13 miles away, or to Ambleside, near Lake Windermere, 17 miles away.
