Beautiful ground-floor apartment with stunning views over Esthwaite Water and enjoying a prime location in a country estate house. Surrounded by mountain views and miles of scenic walks, this apartment offers an idyllic retreat as well as having plenty to discover for those that enjoy an active holiday. The village of Hawkshead is 1 mile away and is home to the Beatrix Potter Gallery, shops, including a lovely deli, and a choice of pubs. Why not enjoy one of many stunning National Trust attractions such as Hill Top Beatrix Potters Farmhouse retreat or Claife viewing station with panoramic views from the monument which was built in the 1790s. Lake Windermere and Coniston Water are within 6 miles, where it is possible to take boat trips and try your hand at a range of water sports.
Enter the ground-floor apartment, which was redecorated in 2022, and you will find a private hallway leading to the light and spacious open-plan lounge/diner which enjoys far-reaching mountain views.
