Escape to the country in this beautiful, detached shepherd's hut, perfect for couples wanting to get away to the Peak District and have a cosy little hideaway to spend your evenings in comfort. A walker’s delight, there are miles of footpaths to be explored from the property. Bring your own cycle and head along the traffic-free Tissington Trail half a mile away or hire one from the cycle hire just 7 miles away. Enjoy a stroll along the river at Dovedale along with its famous stepping stones within a 6-mile drive. The pretty market town of Ashbourne is 7 miles away with its Georgian terraces, 13th-century church, market square, heritage trail, independent stores and antique shops along with plenty of cafes and restaurants waiting to welcome you in.
Step into the shepherd’s hut and immediately make yourself at home, seeing the double bed with under-bed storage, and the windows providing lovely views. There is a wall-mounted Smart TV to catch up on a favourite programme, or maybe after a busy day of exploring, just relax and listen to some music on the DAB radio. The kitchen area offers everything you need to enjoy a light meal or breakfast during your stay with space to enjoy meals around the dining table. Light the wood burner to get nice and cosy after a day hiking the hills, remembering that there is also a separate electric radiator to keep you warm throughout the seasons. Take an invigorating shower in the shower room to get ready for the day's activities ahead.
Outside, there is a table and chairs with a nearby firepit surrounded by mature trees and with an impressive vista down the valley - a really special place to relax.
