Cottage in Wales
Reasons to book
About this cottage rental
Step inside this welcoming country-style cottage where the bright and airy open-plan living space features home-grown oak floors throughout and beautiful Welsh pine furniture. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The adjoining utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer and is a great place to store outside boots and coats. Enjoy family mealtimes at the generous breakfast bar where you can make plans for a new day of adventures. Sink into comfortable chairs around the warming wood burner and soak up the panoramic views towards the Brecon Beacons. On rainy afternoons, you’ll be glad of the comfort of the spacious main lounge. Step down two wide tread steps into the main lounge, and cosy down on one of the three large three seater sofas to watch TV on the large Smart TV. Here you will also find the main dining table that seats six. Let the competitor come out in you, and challenge your family or friends to a game of table football, or pass the time away playing one of the many board games available. There is also a good selection of puzzles for you to use. Just off the main lounge, three wide tread steps up, take you in to a comfortable and spacious bedroom, with a zip-and-link super king-size bed, which has a British wool mattress. This bedroom has its own wet room style shower room with a double headed shower, WC and sink. There is a convenient WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, you'll find a cosy double bedroom, a twin bedroom and nursery with two cots and blackout blind, and a family bathroom with a shower over the p-shaped bath and WC.
Outside, there’s a private enclosed garden with a BBQ, table and chairs and outdoor children's play park area. Here you can spend hours watching birds soaring above and the Mountains beyond. Children can get creative building dams in the stream, collecting sticks to make a camp fire and enjoying running freely in the enclosed garden. Stargazing and birdwatching equipment are available for use. The garden is surrounded by a field which is often home to a few friendly sheep. Two of your equine companions are also welcome to join you at this wonderful farm cottage. Ample car parking is available.
