About this house rental
Nestling in the North Devon countryside, yet within easy reach of the coast, this wing of the main farmhouse makes a perfect retreat. Waytown is approached by a short drive and overlooks the farm - a warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured. Guests are welcome to roam the land and enjoy the seasonal activities on this working sheep and beef farm. The market town of Barnstaple is just over 3 miles away offering a wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants, and the superb sandy beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde are within easy reach offering something to suit even the most discerning guests. Walkers and nature lovers will be in their element with the South-West Coastal Path and Exmoor National Park within an easy drive.
On arrival, step through the archway into your own private area and the welcoming hallway – fab for kicking off shoes after a day of exploring. The open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen create a sociable hub, with comfy sofas and a Smart TV. Also on the ground floor is a shower room with WC and utility with washing machine. The first floor has three bedrooms: one twin room, 1 double room and a double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room and WC. A family bathroom with a bath and WC completes the layout.
Outside, a patio with outdoor furniture creates a pleasant spot for morning coffee or evening meals, and you can sizzle up treats on the charcoal BBQ in fine weather. Steps lead up to a lawned area where children can play safely and soak up the open farm surroundings. The property has private parking for three cars. For a small fee of £10 per adult and £5 per child, you’ll also have use of a heated indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi nearby (10 minute car drive) for the duration of your stay (to be arranged directly with the owner).
