About this cottage rental
This impressive historical building, built of stone from the island, was once the Niton Rectory and it was recorded that in 1675, King Charles II stayed here. This stylish apartment within the building oozes character and is on the ground floor with just a few steps leading down to the door. There is a small, covered porch area, the ideal place to kick off walking boots or beach shoes. Upon entering, you’ll find yourself in the well-dressed hallway leading to the large kitchen. This room is well equipped and with the wood burner-effect electric fire, cosy decor and a breakfast table for four, it’s the perfect spot to debrief your day of adventure over breakfast or a coffee. Heading out through the hallway, you’ll take note of the interesting horseshoe-style layout of this gorgeous apartment. First, you’ll be met with a king-size bedroom; with the same chic decor, it’s hard not to totally relax in this room. Just next door, you’ll find the single room with a cosy feel. Moving back through the property, you’ll find the beautifully large but cosy lounge/diner with oak beams, ample comfortable furniture and a dining table set for six, so why not curl up in front of the Smart TV and watch a family film at the end of a long day exploring the coastal path? There is a wood burner-effect electric fire in this room too, perfect for warming your toes. Heading through to the second arm of the property, you’ll be met with the main family bathroom, again with stylish decor making it the ideal spot to unwind and soak in the tub. The next room you’ll find is another king-size bedroom, similar in style to the other king-size, however, this room has a garden view. There is also a small separate WC at the end of the corridor.
Finally, as we head back out to the rear of the property via the living room, there is a lovely south-facing, enclosed garden with ample seating and a charcoal BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining in the summer sunshine.
