About this cottage rental
This property sits in a charming rural position, acting as an ideal base from which to explore the Peak District National Park. Nearby, Dovedale is popular with walkers wanting to enjoy the stunning views or for those looking to exercise their legs a little more, the cycling trails of Tissington and Manifold are right on the doorstep. Located just a few miles from the property, Hartington has all the necessary local amenities including a pub, restaurants and shops.
Stepping inside the property leads you straight through to the stylish kitchen which is well-equipped and offers everything you need for a home away from home stay, an electric oven and electric induction hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is a handy utility room with a washing machine and a beautiful stable door letting the light flood in. Just off the utility room is a shower room with shower and WC. The beautiful open-plan lounge/diner is the heart of the house, with huge character windows and handcrafted wood features throughout. The lounge area has a Smart TV and sumptuous sofas to relax on in front of the beautiful wood burner and in the dining area there is a dining table which will seat the whole family for dinner. The stunning huge church door can be seen throughout this room and is a real feature within the property, even the walk upstairs is beautiful with the wooden staircase leading to the landing. On this floor there is a double bedroom with a striking circle feature window and built-in wardrobes providing ample hanging space and handy en-suite. The next bedroom is a single room with feature church windows. The third bedroom has a spacious king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request). The bathroom has a walk in shower, bath and WC.
Outside is a small courtyard space with seating to relax and take in the village life after a day’s exploring. There is also use of a small paddock, great for kids to play in. There is ample off-road parking.
