Welcome to the Birkenhaus at Gut Thansen—our vacation home, renovated in the summer of 2026 and furnished with great attention to detail.
This stylishly designed home offers top-notch accommodations for 2 to 6 people (6 adults or 4 adults and 2 children). It features three comfortable bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired. High-quality furniture, tasteful details, and the peaceful location create a special, cozy atmosphere for families, friends, or those seeking relaxation.
A spacious garden invites you to relax, play, or enjoy barbecues together. Bed linens and a set of towels per person are, of course, included. We also provide a starter kit with soap, shampoo, and toilet paper.
The Birkenhaus is situated on the expansive grounds of Gut Thansen, in the heart of the beautiful Lüneburg Heath. Enjoy the tranquility of nature or discover the region’s many attractions—whether it’s blooming heathlands, megalithic tombs, historic cities like Lüneburg and Celle, museums, or popular leisure attractions such as the Bird Park, Serengeti Park, Abenteuerland, the Iserhatsche, swimming lakes, or the Crazy House—there’s something for everyone here.
