Ideally located within a short drive to some of North Devon’s finest beaches, Saunton (17.5 miles) and Croyde (19 miles) are popular with surfers and bathers alike. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the Tarka Trail and walk through the surrounding landscape, stunning in any season. The regional towns of Barnstaple (10 miles) and South Molton (10 miles) are nearby with popular pannier markets. A pleasant level walk to the village includes a couple of pubs and a community shop from which to stock up on provisions. Other attractions include RHS Rosemoor Gardens (8.5 miles) or Dartington Crystal (33 miles).

Loft-inspired stairs lead up to the amiable living space in the lounge/kitchen/diner. The entire room is kept cosy thanks to a warming wood burner, and there are plenty of options for sitting soft when night falls. After dinner time, curl up with the Smart TV on to chat pleasantly away or to take in a blockbuster movie.
Stepping outside, you can enjoy the patio and garden area with seating and BBQ. After a day’s exploring, why not gather around the fire pit and gaze up at the stars in the endless Devon sky, marvelling at the stillness of being away from it all.
