With the centre of Tenby a short stroll along the Esplanade, you can explore a good variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. The South Beach restaurant is in really close proximity and a place where you can enjoy a lovely lunch or evening meal. From the picturesque harbour, take a trip to the monastic island of Caldey to spot nesting seabirds or spend some time fishing. If you fancy getting in the water, why not have a go at bodyboarding, canoeing, sailing or waterskiing, or try some of the best coasteering routes in the world, full of jumps and swim-throughs. With four beaches to explore, children can exhaust themselves running free on the golden sands. Tenby also boasts two great golf courses: a championship links course at Tenby Golf Club and a parkland course at Trefloyne Manor, 2.5 miles away. Otherwise, head to Heatherton World of Activities, 8 miles distant, for karting, paintballing and treetop trails.
