About this cottage rental
Located in the historic market town of Okehampton and within a short walk of the town’s castle and range of cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops, and twice-weekly market. Also accessed on foot is Dartmoor National Park which offers many miles of scenic walks for all abilities, ranging from easy strolls through to challenging hikes and climbs. With great transport links nearby you will also be within a 25-mile drive of the stunning cathedral city of Exeter, while other attractions within 30 miles include Meldon Reservoir and Viaduct, Lydford Gorge, Roadford Lake, the Miniature Pony Centre, Crealy Theme Park and numerous National Trust properties.
On entering this immaculate three-storey townhouse, you will find yourself in the large entrance hall, a perfect place to leave muddy boots after a walk on Dartmoor. Head up two flights of stairs to the second floor and enter the light and airy lounge/kitchen/diner. Here you will find a bright and attractive lounge area, which is an ideal space to relax in, with comfortable seating, a Smart TV, a pool table and doors opening into the secluded, enclosed garden. The dining area has a large table where you can enjoy mealtimes together while planning your days out. The kitchen is fully equipped with a range-style cooker with electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, further undercounter fridge, microwave, coffee machine and washing machine. Explore the second floor further to find two double bedrooms, both with Smart TVs and en-suite bathrooms with showers over the baths and WCs. Completing the second floor is a useful separate WC. Heading back down the stairs to the first floor, you’ll find two triple bedrooms, each featuring a double bed, a single bed, a Smart TV, and an en‑suite bathroom - one of the rooms has an en‑suite with a bath, separate shower and WC, while the other offers an en‑suite with a shower over the bath and WC.
