About this house rental
A pretty cottage situated in the grounds of the owner’s home, it is ideal for a couple or solo adventurers looking for the perfect, peaceful hideaway, an easy drive from North Yorkshire’s historic cities and countryside attractions. Crayke is half a mile away, where hikers can enjoy joining the Foss Walk which passes through the village. Foodies can head to enjoy the market town of Malton 16.5 miles away, known as “Yorkshire’s Food Capital” and perfect for tasting and buying local artisan produce. Otherwise, take some time to explore two of England’s historic monasteries at Byland Abbey (7 miles) and the extensive ruins and museum at Rievaulx Abbey, 7 and 16 miles respectively.

The large and bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining space has calming tones. The sitting space boasts a comfortable sofa to unwind and catch up with a movie or a box set on the Smart TV.
