About this cabin rental
ORIGIN STORY
What started as a quirky Gambrel A-frame became a labor of love. Our family thoughtfully renovated every inch, creating a space that feels equal parts design retreat, summer camp, and cozy mountain hideaway. Whether you're spending your days skiing, hiking, floating the river, or simply soaking in your own private hot tub beneath the stars, this is a place designed to slow down and enjoy.
The tour starts with a bold, color-drenched mudroom before the home opens up dramatically into soaring 20-foot ceilings, designer lighting, warm wood tones, and a one-of-a-kind mural by local artist Racheal Jackson (@banyanbridges). The layout flows effortlessly from dining to kitchen to living space, creating the perfect backdrop for gathering, relaxing, and making yourself at home.
THE SPACE
The GayFrame comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across three generous bedrooms featuring linen bedding, plush pillows, and Brooklinen towels throughout.
The main floor features a full bathroom with Jack-and-Jill access and beautiful terrazzo-style concrete tile. Upstairs, you'll find two cozy bedrooms, a convenient half bath, and a loft overlooking the mural and living space below. Skylights flood the loft with natural light, where a vintage tanker desk creates an inspiring place to work, read, or simply take in the view from above.
The heart of the home is the open-concept kitchen, dining area, and living room. Gather around the table for dinner, enjoy morning coffee in the breakfast nook, or curl up beside the wood stove on the oversized teddy sofa.
The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and entertaining and includes:
* Caraway cookware
* Local coffee and tea
* French press
* Electric kettle
* Cooking essentials and serving ware
Pick a colorful mug, brew something warm, and get cozy.
Throughout the home you'll find colorful artwork, vintage finds, designer furnishings, organic cleaning products, and thoughtful details that make the space feel both elevated and approachable.
GAME ROOM
The game room is where things get a little weird in the best way.
Featuring checkered floors, horse-themed decor, ping pong, board games, and plenty of personality, it's the perfect place to gather after a day on the river or mountain.
Pickleball paddles are also provided for the community's year-round tennis courts.
