It’s surrounded by attractive, well-maintained grounds, making it a lovely and peaceful setting for couples or a solo traveller looking to recharge. Evenings here are especially magical, with clear skies perfect for stargazing and the soothing sounds of nature all around. Despite the tranquil setting, you’ll still be within easy reach of some of the area’s highlights, with the nearest shop, garage and pub only 3 miles. Head to the colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron (4 miles) for a wander along the waterfront or a relaxed meal by the sea. Llanrhystud Beach (8 miles) has sweeping views across Cardigan Bay. The university town of Aberystwyth (19 miles) makes a great day trip, and the Llanerchaeron National Trust estate (1.5 miles) is fab for a cultural visit followed by tea and cake in the café.
