About this cottage rental
Escape with your loved ones to this characterful barn conversion sitting in a complex of properties in Heacham. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, it’s perfect for families or groups of friends who are searching for a beautiful, beachy hideaway to call home while they explore Norfolk’s wild and rugged shores together. Spend a lovely day strolling along the promenade at Hunstanton (3 miles). Stay late into the day if you want to experience one of the most unique sunsets in England – as it’s west-facing, Hunstanton is one of the only places on the east coast where you can see the sun set over the sea. Alternatively, spend a day discovering the royal retreat at Sandringham (6.5 miles), or head to the expansive shores of Brancaster (8 miles) to see the haunting shipwreck of the SS Vina at low tide.
Step inside your beachy, bohemian retreat and you’ll be greeted by an inviting open-plan living/kitchen/dining area bathed in natural light from the floor-to-ceiling French doors. Take a moment to appreciate the ceiling beams, unique brickwork archway and exposed stone wall features. When it’s time to eat, head to the country-style kitchen area to whip up some dinner to share in the dining area. Afterwards, relax with a glass of wine in the cosy lounge area. Upstairs you’ll find two lovely bedrooms – a generous double and a twin that’s ideal for children up to 12 years old. A smart family bathroom with a bath with a shower attachment completes the layout.
Step out into the shared garden and you’ll find a patio with seating where you can enjoy a lazy morning coffee or a fun al fresco dinner. Private parking is provided for two cars.
