Find the perfect balance between countryside, city, and coast at this contemporary detached house on the edge of the Norfolk Broads. Ideal for larger families or groups of friends, it sits in the peaceful village of Postwick, about 6 miles from the centre of Norwich, which is famous for its magnificent cathedral and colourful outdoor market. On quieter days away from the hubbub of the city, explore the Broads on foot, two wheels, or by boat, pausing at scenic riverside pubs in Wroxham (7 miles) and Horning (10 miles) as you go. If you’re craving sea air, the coast is within 17 miles of the property, so head to Horsey Gap to feel the sand between your toes and look out for grey seals. For a family day out, don’t miss BeWILDerwood woodland adventure park, around 10 miles from the property.
As you enter the hallway of this generously sized property, you’ll find rooms branching off in every direction. To the left is a welcoming lounge – your go-to chillout space for watching TV or chatting over a glass of wine. To the rear of the property is a spacious kitchen/diner with patio doors that open into the garden, providing ample room for leisurely breakfasts that spill outdoors. For special occasions and evening meals, a separate dining room gives you the option of a more formal setting. The ground floor also includes a handy shower room and utility area, plus access to a converted double garage, now a games room for fun afternoons and perhaps a little friendly competition. The hallway stairs lead to a family bathroom with a bath made for long, lazy soaks. You’ll also find all four bedrooms upstairs.
