To the east, the breathtaking Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape (5 miles) offer miles of glorious walks and bike trails. For a day by the sea, head to the bustling North Wales resort of Rhyl (19 miles), home to four gorgeous sandy beaches. Snowdonia/Eryri National Park lies to the west (17 miles), perfect for hikers, climbers, and wildlife watchers.
