The ancient cottage sits in the traditional village of Whissonsett, a charming spot steeped in history and featured in the Domesday Book. From here, you can set off walking in every direction to admire the picturesque scenery of rural Norfolk. The market towns of Fakenham (5 miles) and Dereham (8.5 miles) are both within easy reach, offering a selection of shops, eateries and local attractions. Younger guests will love a day out at ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure (13.5 miles), while the Norfolk Coast (15 miles) promises endless seaside adventures. Begin your coastal explorations from Wells-next-the-Sea, known for its sweeping sandy beach, coastal paths and opportunities to spot seals. The historic city of Norwich, famed for its architecture and heritage, is also well worth a visit, just 23 miles away.
Inside, the property unfolds across two storeys. Original wooden beams nod to the cottage’s heritage, while contemporary design touches bring the interiors firmly into the present day.
