Located on the edge of the village of Foulsham, this cosy shepherd's hut offers couples or small families a wonderful retreat with some of Norfolk's best-loved attractions within easy reach. Begin your stay by soaking up village life and taking gentle walks along quiet lanes and through open country. For classic seaside days, the North Norfolk Coast (15 miles) awaits. Spend time on wide sandy beaches, explore charming coastal villages or sample fresh seafood overlooking the sea. The pretty market town of Holt (13 miles) is a lovely spot for browsing independent shops, galleries and cafes. Nature lovers can head to the Norfolk Broads (22 miles), where waterways invite boating, wildlife watching and scenic walks through reed beds and riverside paths. For a cultural day out, the historic city of Norwich (17 miles) boasts a rich mix of medieval streets, a magnificent cathedral, boutique shopping and family-friendly attractions.
Step inside to discover a snug yet thoughtfully designed space, complete with a comfortable double bed, bedside table and chair, and ample storage, including hanging for your clothes. With electric heating and lighting, the hut stays warm and welcoming all year round – perfect for countryside escapes in any season. A short stroll away is a separate shared cabin, providing your own private shower room and WC, along with a well-equipped communal kitchen and dining area. One other shepherd's hut also shares access to this cabin, making it an excellent option for larger group bookings if both huts are reserved together.
Outside, sink into your private wood-fired hot tub, dine al fresco at the picnic bench, grill at the BBQ, or gather around the fire pit as the sun sets and the stars come out over the wide Norfolk skies. The hut sits within a large open field for gentle wandering and wildlife spotting, with walks straight from the doorstep. With ample parking for two cars close by, everything is in place for a fuss-free stay.

- Private wood-fired hot tub
- Coal BBQ, utensils provided
- Picnic bench and fire pit with logs, firelighters and kindling (extra logs available upon request for a charge)
- Private off-road parking for 2 cars
- Shop and pub within 0.5 miles, beach 15 miles
- Please note that the hut is located on a shared, large plot which guests can explore
- Dogs must be kept on leads around the grounds due to the local wildlife
- A small pull-down futon bed can be added to the hut on request which is suitable for a small child (meaning the hut can be a 2 plus 1 if required)
