About this cottage rental
Spend quality time together at this characterful cottage, a great choice for couples or small families looking to explore Cornwall. Tucked away in a tranquil courtyard, it provides a relaxing base while keeping you close to the county’s highlights. Head north to discover the rugged coastline (4 miles) or venture south (18 miles) for picturesque harbours and hidden coves. A short drive brings you to some of Cornwall’s best beaches, including Fistral, Crantock, Holywell Bay and Perranporth, all within 7.5 miles and with charming shops, eateries and traditional inns. Explore the cathedral city of Truro (7 miles), enjoy a nostalgic ride at Lappa Valley Steam Railway (5 miles), or visit family-friendly attractions such as Screech Owl Sanctuary (11 miles) and Oasis Fun Pool (6.5 miles). Nature lovers can wander through the Lost Gardens of Heligan (18.5 miles) or marvel at the world-famous Eden Project (21.5 miles).

Take food to the bright conservatory at the rear of the property, which doubles as a dining area, filled with natural light and opening directly onto the garden for easy indoor-outdoor living. Upstairs are two attractive bedrooms await: a king-size room overlooking the garden and a comfortable twin. A well-appointed shower room completes the first floor.
Outside, the enclosed patio provides a lovely setting for outdoor dining, complete with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ for holiday sizzle-ups. Beyond this, the generous enclosed lawn is ideal for energetic children and dogs to let off steam. You’ll also have shared access to 10 acres of grounds, including a scenic lake with seating. Private parking for two cars is available directly outside the property.
